Self Care Sunday


Do you have a special place that you love to go, just to sit, relax and reflect on life?

For me it's by the sea, particularly Blackpool as it holds so many happy memories. I used to drive from Manchester to Blackpool, every Wednesday for 2 years for my counselling diploma. On nice days, I would often arrive early so I could grab a coffee, sit on the beach and reflect on life. Listening to the sound of the sea, the sea gulls and everything else around me, I would get lost in my thoughts and feel the stresses of life leave me, at least for a little while.

I can't explain it, but being out in the fresh air and surrounded by nature, helps lift my mood and enables me to think more positively.
